Shortly after the reveal of a collaboration with Australian knitwear and lifestyle brand COOGI, we take a look at what else is set to release at Supreme this week.
Founded in Australia in 1969, the brand became known for their vibrant knitwear. The mercerized construction – swirling patterns and textures created from the colourful wool – gave the pieces a distinct look that became highly sought after in the 1990s.
One boost to the brand’s popularity came from a slightly unexpected source – legendary East coast rapper Notorious B.I.G., who was often spotted in the clothing and made no secret of his love for Coogi knitwear.

Biggie shouted out the brand numerous times throughout his discography, equating the Coogi sweater with “livin’ better” on One More Chance and boasting of wearing “Coogi down to the socks” on Big Poppa.
The Supreme x Coogi collection features the brand’s signature abstract knit designs and colourful embellishments on pieces including a Trucker Jacket, Basketball Jersey, embroidered shortsleeve Top, embellished jean, Basketball Short and Durag.

Besides the historical collaboration, Supreme has also lined up a re-up on mainline outputs that don’t skimp on embellishments – like the Spiral Patches Hoodie that features sign-appliquéd detailing and the words “mercy” and “grace” sewn into the arms.
More sweats arrive in fully-quilted constructions, complete with gilded Supreme script branding – available in the usual wide array of colour schemes.

Standing out amongst the streetwear-focused lineup, a lightweight pinstripe suit shows ‘Preme’s sartorial capabilities, with a return to the bread and butter on the series of hats, which feature some form of Supreme wording worked into their colourful designs.
This week’s accessories includes the seasonal Sigg collaboration, this time using Supreme’s red and white signature on a water bottle – with said colourings reversed on the Supreme x Raymay Pocket Microscope.

The Supreme x Coogi collection will release alongside this week’s drop via Supreme from Thursday 4th May, 11 a.m. EST in the US and Saturday 6th May 11 a.m. JST in Japan.
