Supreme, Nike SB Dunk “Rammellzee” collaboration confirmed to be released on August 31st

After a limited release at Singapore’s Dover Street Market on July 4, the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk “Rammelj” releases globally on Thursday, August 31. In the teaser image released on Instagram, Supreme shows only a portion of the front part of the shoe as seen under a black light. Given the Rammelzy Gothic Futurism pieces are consistent across both low and high, both pairs are expected to release in stores and online on their regular Thursday release dates.
Rammellzee, a Queens native, first picked up a pen while creating graffiti on the New York City subway. He is considered one of the most influential artists from NYC, along with Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Rammelzi style is commonly associated with Afrofuturism. Afrofuturism combines various elements including science fiction, surrealism, and Afrocentrism. Once again, it will release online and in-store at Supreme Chapter Stores worldwide on Thursday, August 31st.
