Vivienne Westwood has teamed up with storage specialist Eastpak for a collaboration that brings an otherworldly feel to the iconic brand’s classic globe.

It may not have crossed anyone’s mind by now, but Vivienne Westwood and Eastpak’s logos share some similarities, with each spherical centerpiece surrounded by a ‘ring’ of sorts.

Although there is no connection to the meaning behind the branding, the aesthetic similarities were utilized in the graphics for Vivienne Westwood’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection, which helped inform the collaboration we have now. This time, Andreas Kronthaler gave the iconic motif a planetary makeover. This capsule presents itself in a holistic manner.

Our standard backpacks, duffels and sidebags serve as a black canvas for printing and are made from eco-friendly fabrics that support the Cool Earth initiative. A total of $1.5 million has been donated over the past few years in efforts to stop deforestation.

The Vivienne Westwood x Eastpak capsule will be released on September 9th at Eastpak.com.

Each bag costs $210 USD.
