First look at the Nike x Stussy Air Flight ’89

It looks like the rumored Stussy x Nike Air Flight ’89 will be releasing soon. Hands-on images of the collaborative sneaker have now surfaced, showcasing one of three colorways of the nearly 35-year-old basketball silhouette.
As the name suggests, the Nike Air Flight ’89 was released in 1989. At the time, the brand was booming throughout the basketball world and Jordan and his team were wearing kicks named after him. Air Flight was a viable alternative. Designed for other players in the NBA, it became popular with fans for its similarity to the Air Jordan IV, adding practicality thanks to the extra padding and prominent Nike branding.
This is an edition pair rumored to be releasing as part of a pack later this year.
Pictured above is the “White/Habanero Red” colorway, but you can also expect “Black/White” and “White/Pecan” versions.
It’s unclear if the other two designs will also include reptile details, but stay tuned for more details on their release.
